MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (October 13, 2020) – Structures and assemblies are becoming larger and more complex. At the same time, schedules are tightening. To remedy this, Enerpac introduces a new method of transport—the Enerpac ETR Electric Trolley.
Electric trolleys like the ETR provide distinct advantages over traditional methods of transport, such as skidding systems. When it comes to speed, the ETR can travel as fast as 50 m/hour (82 ft/hour) when loaded. To help tackle large structures, the ETR has a capacity of 500kN/50 tonnes per trolley. They also offer continuous movement, power via a self-contained electric drive, wireless radio control, simple forward/reserve operation, and reduced maintenance due to less wear on parts.
The new ETR also has a low starting height, clean operation, and low-profile track plate. Wireless radio control comes standard, while hydraulic lifting and support for more complex structures is optional.
Additional features and benefits include:
- Extreme side load resistant
- High capacity per point
- Mechanically locked
- Expandable
- Low cost compared to crane of equal capacity
- East of transport and set up
- Versatile
