Going to a baseball stadium is not what it used to be. Instead of waiting out rain delays, sweltering in summer heat or freezing in early-season rain, fans can now enjoy the sport in comfort.
That’s thanks to companies like Menomonee Falls’ Enerpac, which specializes in heavy lifting technology for retractable roofs for large-scale stadiums. Enerpac’s current project: a 5-acre retractable roof for the Texas Rangers’ new Globe Life Field, expected to open in March 2020.
